Neopost breaks new ground in terms of folder-inserter solutions with its new DS-200

Neopost releases the DS-200, a highly productive mail processing system that is able to fold and insert an unprecedented variety of mail automatically and practically without the need for any adjustment.

Neopost, the world leader in mailing and logistics solutions, launches a new modular folder-inserter which can process up to 200,000 items of mail per month, at a rate of 4,800 envelopes an hour.

The DS-200 offers perfect ergonomics and a high level of modularity and is easy to use. It can be configured to meet customer needs and up to 11 feeders can subsequently be added to it.

The DS-200 can process all types of mail: Simple personalized bulk mailshots (folded in three and inserted into a commercial window envelope); brochures (up to 6 mm thick); stapled documents and landscape C4 envelopes (up to 50 sheets per envelope).

It is easy to operate thanks to its 15'' colour touch screen and user interface allowing users to switch from one job to another.

The high loading capacity along with the cascade feeding function (if one feeder runs empty, another takes over without any interruption to throughput) allow for a continuous operation.

The brand new optical scanning technology is able to read different types of codes (OMR, BCR or 2D) from one single device and without having to adjust anything. The optical reader scans the entire page and reads the code wherever it may be on the page.

The DS-200 comes with Document Output Management software which allows BCR and 2D documents to be encoded without having to draw on the services of the user's IT resources.

"With all these features, the DS-200 is setting a new industry standard in mail processing solutions and positioning Neopost as the leading innovator in this market segment" claimed Denis Thiery, CEO of Neopost S.A.
